All forms of art have been apart of my life since before I can remember. Family members making clothes, my Nana teaching me the joy and love of art, my mom teaching me how to crochet, to the various crafts growing up in school and summer camp, and so many other places.

I have been told for years to start selling my creations. I didn’t want to take the joy out of creating by turning it into a job. But with the inspiration of my aunt Jennie and a sweet soul that commissioned me for a project I decided to take that leap!

I chose the name Hook and Dabble because while I primarily crochet I do dabble in all sorts of other crafts. I crochet, draw, paint, make jewelry, macrame and there is a chance if its on the Pinterest, I have attempted or pinned it. I also very much so enjoy baking which plenty will argue is an art within itself and I agree!
